Adele
Adele was the daughter of William of Normandy, also known as William the Conquerer, and Matilda of Flanders. William eventually conquered England and became King there.
Adele was born around the year 1062 in Normandy, France. Some scholars think she might have been born as late as 1067. The information on the children is not very clear.
Gevrehan
Gevrehan was the only daughter of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II. She was probably born sometime after 1450.
In 1453, her father conquered the city of Constantinople and renamed it Istanbul. In the newly named city, he started many colleges and universities. Education and justice were very important to the sultan. He also allowed other religions, such as Christianity, in his empire.
Gisela
Gisela was born sometime between 770 and 781. No birth date was ever recorded for her. She was the second or third daughter of King Charles of the Franks (Charlemagne) and his wife, Hildegard of Savoy. Gisela’s mother was Charlemagne’s first wife. Hildegard and Charlemagne had 6 children before Hildegard died.
Isabelle
Isabelle was the daughter of Louis IX, or Saint Louis. She was born on March 2, 1241. Her father became the king of France in 1226. King Louis IX went on his first crusade to the Holy Land in 1248 and was gone for four years.
Mary
Mary Rose Tudor was the youngest daughter of King Henry VII of England and Elizabeth of York. She was born March 18th in the year 1496. It was said of Mary Rose that she was the most beautiful princess in all of Europe.
